A process aimed at thoroughly understanding a company that is being analyzed for acquisition, through a comprehensive review of all business areas that make up the target company. In this case, the selling party hires the process to offer security to potential buyers. Generally, the sale is organized as an auction where potential investors will have access to the information provided by the sales due diligence, without the need to duplicate the analysis for each interested investor, to avoid significant impact on the daily operations of the analyzed company.
